Emotional Wellbeing Workshops
The workshops bring Kent education settings and partner agencies who have a role in supporting young people with their wellbeing together to improve confidence, collaboration and coordination of the Emotional Wellbeing offer to schools.
The workshops have a focus topic with presentations from invited speakers who have specialist information, knowledge and skills to explore areas of interest and provide evidence-based resources and good practice.
95% of attendees feel more confident supporting young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health by attending the workshops.
The workshops are designed to meet local needs, and therefore subjects are chosen locally. The Countywide Learning Events, which take place online explores emerging trends and popular local requests. The online sessions are recorded.
To sign up to attend the meetings and receive further information please email WellbeingforSchools@kent.gov.uk.
The meetings are organised by Kent County Council (KCC), in partnership with NHS Kent and Medway and NELFT with the topics of discussion set by the need as identified by local schools.
