Countywide Learning Events

Countywide Learning Events focus on a particular emerging or identified need. Subject experts will deliver a webinar. There will also be the use of break out rooms to enable the exploration of the webinar content, sharing of practice and problem solving.

The webinar only will be recorded and will then be available to share wider than the attendees, and if required can be used in the local network meetings to explore in more detail.

We have two further Countywide Learning events this academic year:

17th June, 4-5.30pm – Social Media: the ‘impact’ on children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.

  • Explore the latest research and evidence on the ‘impact’ of social media use on children’s mental health and wellbeing.
  • Consider what schools can do to develop and deliver meaningful online safety education and respond to social media concerns.
  • Signpost to a range of educational resources and approaches to support children identified at greater risk of harm.

8th July, 4-5.30pm – Staff Wellbeing
