The Kent School Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing

Applying for the Kent School Award in Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing is easy.

Work through the application document with your resilience team using your Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing Record to support this. A lot of the hard work has already been done by completing this record throughout the toolkit process.

Gather one piece of evidence from each of the following principles to support your application:

  • One student voice piece of evidence
  • One parent and carers piece of evidence
  • One ethos and environment piece of evidence.

This evidence could be documents, photos, or direct feedback to support your application.

Submit your application for the award, along with your completed Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing Record (Action Plan) and three pieces of evidence to kentchft.wholeschoolhealth@nhs.net

Your application will then be reviewed using the criteria by a moderation panel. As a minimum requirement we will need to receive evidence for student voice, parents and carers, ethos and environment.

Further evidence may also be requested by the moderation panel which will be reviewed; however, this will not exceed six pieces of evidence in total that is required.

If successful, a date will be arranged for your school to receive the Kent Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing.
