The Kent Community Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing

The Kent Community Award is a recognition of organisations’ commitment to promoting and supporting emotional wellbeing. Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Make sure you have completed all stages of the Community Resilience Toolkit (Assess, Plan and Review).
  2. Gather one piece of evidence from each of the following principles. This evidence could be documents, photos, or direct feedback or quotes to support your application:
  • 1 x Young People’s Voice
  • 1 x Parents and Carers
  • 1 x Ethos and Environment.

Your application will then be reviewed by a moderation panel of both staff and young people.

HeadStart will keep you informed throughout the process, will notify you of any further evidence requests and will contact you regarding the outcome of your application.

Once successful, a date will be arranged for your community organisation to receive the Kent Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing!
