What are i-THRIVE Champions
The i-THRIVE Champions are responsible for implementing the national i-THRIVE framework within services for children and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health across Kent and Medway.
The group reports primarily to NHS Kent and Medway and are responsive to the needs of the local area governance bodies including statutory and community sector.
Members identify and deliver system improvement projects which enables the framework to become embedded, improving outcomes for children and young people (for example the Kent and Medway Self-harm guidance.
Expectations of a Champion
- Participate in an annual assessment of progress including the update of the theory of change.
- Ensure service user voice and perspectives are central to programme development; including project requests to and from children and young people.
- Operational oversight of progress of the implementation of i-THRIVE.
- Share operational issues in relation to the framework and how it integrates with practice frameworks.
Can you commit to attending a meeting once a term (virtual and face to face), provide resource and commit to ensuring projects are delivered?
