Getting Risk support
Risk support can be short term responsiveness to sudden or unexpected difficult situations for which they need immediate help to keep themselves or others safe.
It is also can be long term risk support for young people whose mental health needs require them to have active support from skilled organisations working together, as they remain a significant concern and risk to themselves and others, and the purpose is to keep the young person and others safe.
Even when needing risk support it is important to ask the young person what their needs and wishes are.
Many of the services and organisations that support young people in Kent work across the i-THRIVE framework. Here you can find a full list of services available to young people and if you are not sure where to start visit our Get Help Now page.
