Getting help

Here, young people can get help with a single issue which affects them. They can speak to someone about something which is troubling them, so to manage their difficulties. Examples could include helping young people to develop skills to manage stress, worry, feeling low and difficult situations.

This is goal-based support on different areas of need that are identified such as LGBTQ+ support, Mentoring, Young Carers, Healthy relationships, school counselling, pastoral support in school. The people who work in these areas are super knowledgeable and can help young people through one-on-one conversations or group activities – whatever works best for them.

Many of the services and organisations that support young people in Kent work across the i-THRIVE framework. Here you can find a full list of services available to young people and if you are not sure where to start visit our Get Help Now page.
