Grants for community organisations
The HeadStart Kent community grant scheme is designed to support community organisations develop their whole setting approach to emotional wellbeing and resilience. This means benefitting young people aged 10 – 16, their parents and carers, and staff and volunteers.
Community organisations can request up to £500 per grant.
This grant is only available to community organisations who have not received a grant from HeadStart Kent previously (excluding Pay It Forward and Talents and Interests grants for young people).
It is required that community organisations requesting grant funding complete the Assess and Plan stages of the Community Resilience Toolkit.
This community grant can be used to support community organisations to work through the Community Resilience Toolkit and put key actions in place to develop their approach to resilience and wellbeing.
