Suicide & Prevention Awareness Training

Suicide Prevention & Awareness Training

Would you like to learn more about supporting other people? Do you want to find out how to have open conversations about suicide? Are you keen to learn about the support services which are available to people across Kent and Medway?

Our three-and-a-half-hour Suicide Prevention & Awareness sessions can help with all of this and more – empowering you to learn more about how you can support others who may be struggling. We’ll explore the key mental health drivers that can cause suicidal thoughts and will also help you to spot the signs when someone is struggling.

We will also look at the ways we can proactively support people who are struggling – giving you not only the skills to have these conversations, but the tools needed to make a difference to those around you.

Spaces are available free of charge thanks to generous funding from Kent County Council, Medway Council and Transforming Health & Social Care in Kent and Medway. We are happy to deliver this training to anyone who may benefit from it, so please do get in touch with us for more details.
